I’m back with another post highlighting my love of cheese with Crystal Farms®! Last month, I surprised myself and made a fantastic side dish featuring Crystal Farms® Gouda shredded cheese in the dish Bacon Gouda Spaezle! I suffered from heavy creators block this past week because I’ve been feeling pretty overwhelmed with life lately with the Holidays being here! With the theme of creating an appetizer, I made these easy Taco Bagel Mini’s!
Cook your ground beef in a pan until browned, add in a packet of taco seasoning. I did not add an entire packet, but mainly just eyeballed it and taste tested to my liking!
Toast your mini bagels, and gather your toppings. For the cheese, I chose the Mexican variety – mixtures of Cheddar and Monterey Jack plus taco seasoning – from Crystal Farms® but there are also so many other options of shredded cheese to choose from as well, including 2 other kinds of Mexican varieties!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and add the ground beef and top with cheese! LOTS OF CHEESE! When I made these, for some reason, I skimped on the cheese and wished I had added more, so don’t be shy!
Bake for 5-7 minutes eyeing the bagels until cheese has melted. Top with desired toppings – lettuce & tomatoes – or anything else that sparks your fancy!
Serve with sour cream or any other dipping sauce you prefer! These make a great appetizer choice because they are so easy and fairly fast! You can make the ground beef the night before to save time too!
