Glossy Box’s Limited Edition Holiday Box

Around the Holidays, I’ve noticed some companies have limited edition-Holiday themed boxes that come out – and I think it’s a great idea! Not knowing what is inside is a great gift for you or even better yet, the person in your life who is hard to shop for. Of course, you run the risk that you won’t like anything inside the box making you feel like you just wasted your money, but hopefully as some point you can gift all the items you do not like to other people throughout the year. And, even though the holidays are long gone, I think it’s still worth sharing what was inside Glossy Box’s Limited Edition Holiday Box, because it was quite fabulous! It could also serve as a reference for anyone else looking in the coming years to see if what they are about to purchase is worth it. I do that a lot – Google past boxes in order to gauge if I’d be interested! Do you, too? Or do you just go ahead without researching past boxes and relying on any box spoilers?

Information regarding this box, first off it’s obviously sold out by now and before the Holidays were over, but it retailed for $40 and promised to come with 7 products valuing at over $200. I purchase this box because I’m a sucker, as you may know, and was pulled in by the words: Limited Edition, and seeing that past boxes were pretty awesome! I considered a gift to myself! The contents of the box:

POUTMUD Wet Lip Balm Treatment in Starlet by Glam Glow – Value: $19.00 (Full-Size!)

Smokey Treatment Eyeshadow Palette by Skinn Cosmetics – Value: $32.00 (Size!)

C.E.O. Rapid Flash Brightening Serum by Sunday Riley – Value: $85.00 (Full-Size!)

Liquid Eyeliner EX by D Heskin Skincare – Value: $20.00 (Full-Size!)

Scented Candle in Sugar Cookie by Nest Fragrances – Value: $2?

Big Tease Plumping Mascara by Buxom Cosmetics – Value: $22.00 (Full-Size!)

So Rich Cuticle Oil in Dark Almond by NCLA – Value: $18.00 (Full-Size!)

Grand total value: $198

The only thing I wasn’t really excited to see was the cuticle oil, mostly because I do not have much time to dedicate to my nails. I haven’t painted my nails in months and months if that says anything. Overall, this box was a hit for me! What do you think? Did you get one? Do you wish you would have?

Having 4 daughters, my oldest twin daughters are just getting into using some makeup products I need to keep learning so I know what they need or are talking about.
